Posted June 20, 200916 yr comment_5440958 Kengo Kimura vs. Chavo Guerrero (NWA International Junior Title) - I don't know how it compares to their later match that Phil nominated, but this was awesome. Chavo led Kimura through a long and nifty mat section that gradually built into a hot finishing run. Chavo probably had as much offense as anyone in the world at this point, and Kimura was always great at enduring a beating. I didn't mind the double countout in this instance, because it didn't cut the match off at the knees. It fit the story of Chavo being superior but unable to put Kimura away. NJ Classics 94
August 23, 200916 yr comment_5443261 I have mixed feelings on this one. Everything looked solid enough but there wasn't any one moment or one story that stood out. It built nicely and the crowd was coming alive at the end right before the countout. However, it didn't have the cool-as-fuck mat section like the other match. I like it as a low-level but won't fight for it to stay on. At this point, I would be willing to say no because we have a matchup between the two I like better and this isn't top-tier stuff.
August 29, 200916 yr comment_5443498 I liked this a bunch, it didn't have as much matwork as the previous match, but the matwork they did have was great. I loved the finish with Chavo fighting so hard to get back in the ring. I am going yes
