Sayama looked good, at least until he blew his corner flip. Then, it ended abruptly on a pointless double countout. So no go. Andre the Giant & Bad News Allen vs. Seiji Sakaguchi & Tiger Toguchi - This was more about setting up Andre vs. Hansen than about having a standout match. Antonio Inoki vs. Stan Hansen - Different structure here as Hansen hit the western lariat in the first two minutes and really controlled most of the match off that early advantage. They worked well together as always, but the match really lacked a final act and failed to add anything to the series. October 16, 1981 Antonio Inoki & Riki Choshu vs. Abdullah the Butcher & Bad News Allen - JIP. Abby and Bad News gored the shit out of Choshu's face, but this wasn't that exciting otherwise.
