Posted June 20, 200916 yr comment_5440970 Tatsumi Fujinami vs El Solitario (WWF Junior Title) - This was good though I'm not sure good enough to beat out all of the Fujinami competition for a spot on the set. It had a lucha vibe as they started on the mat but didn't really work body parts. They built the pace and traded dives in the finishing stretch. Fujinami absolutely drilled Solitario with a tope suicida. I would like to have seen Solitario put up more fight at the end, and I'm on the fence with this one. I guess I'll put it up for discussion at least. NJ Classics 109
August 25, 200916 yr comment_5443331 I enjoyed this, Solitario had really nice looking punches I dug all of the matwork and fast exchanges and the double dives at the end were good stuff. I agree with Childs that the finish was a bit flat, want to see what Will thinks about this.
August 30, 200916 yr comment_5443510 The beginning run was solid but unspectacular. I actually enjoyed them working over each other's leg but they both moved away from it. This had some cool shit but the Solitario splash with the missed dropkick looked bad. The Fujinami dive at the end was cool as fuck and I enjoyed it but not anywhere close to Fujinami-Starr or Fujinami-Kimura. I think this is a Fujinami match I would put on a Fujinami comp but not in the Top matches of NJ.
