This was almost a protean version of his matches with Fujiwara. Sayama was the mover and striker, Canek the clubber and stretcher. And they both played their parts well. This also featured one of the best double countout set-ups in a decade full of double countouts. It should move forward. NJ Classics 113
August 29, 200916 yr comment_5443502 Canek is really a guy who made his stuff look like it hurt, I loved the craziness of the finish with Sayama flying at Canek with such abandon. Really fun match and should make a set.
September 5, 200916 yr comment_5443859 This is one of those matches where Tiger Mask is going light speed but is going a little too fast as he is really out of control in some of those early moves including completely flying over Canek on his running cross body. Much more back and forth than the Villano match and much better matwork. Nice stretch run leading up to the wild ending. Really fun match thanks to Canek getting the best out of Tiger Mask.
