Pretty disappointing as it only goes about four minutes. Not as good as you Adams v. Glacier series for short matches Hulk Hogan, Stan Hansen v. Bob Backlund, Dusty Rhodes 5/29/81 I wish I could nominate this just for the crazy starpower of the match up, but this wasn’t good at all. Hansen and Dusty looked good, but there were some sections where Backlund and Hogan looked like backyarders. Pretty basic match, which never really got out of first gear, add in a listless double count out and it was a pretty huge disappointment. Tiger Jeet Singh v. Antonio Inoki 5/29/81 Still looking for a disc worthy match up between these two, this might have come the closest, with some nice mat work and some good brawling, but it really needs to be crazier to make a set. Tatsumi Fujinami, Seji Sakaguchi vs Chris Adams, Sgt. Slaughter 5/26/81 Fun little match which was a nice chance to look at Adams and Slaughter, and I liked Sakaguchi in this. Adams was still pretty green in 1981, not a disc level match, but I enjoyed it. Bobby Duncum v. Tiger Jeet Singh 5/26/81 More fun then a normal Singh match, but not particularly competitive. Bob Backlund v. Hulk Hogan 6/3/81 These guys work really well together, I really liked their WWF set match. This is pretty similar, including a bunch of really cool bear hug reversals. Had a bit of a cop out finish, with Hogan getting Dqed for throwng Backlund over the rail. Still I liked this more then any of the other NJ Backlund, and since Will has his head up JDW’s ass, I will go ahead and nominate it Dusty Rhodes, Antonio Inoki v. Sgt. Slaughter, Bobby Duncum 6/3/81 Fun match, I enjoyed Dusty v. Slaughter, I bet they could have had an awesome feud in Florida. Still needed a hotter finish to distinguish it.
