Honky.

Honky was the much bigger star and drew way more money. Tito does hold the distinction of losing to Savage for his first title win in WWF, though and helping to kick off the Demolition gimmick by dropping the tag titles to them in a squash at WM 4.

Tito Santana

This may be because I'm actually getting sick of voting for Honky, but while HTM drew a chunkload of money in 87-88, I consider Tito a better worker, even when he was past his prime, and Tito also wins on longevity. Santana had good tag team title success during this era too.

HTM

For the time period in question, HTM's peak was far above that of Tito's, and while they both sunk to virtual jobberdom after their peaks, HTM was a far more meaningful jobber to beat.

Honky Tonk Man.

Once again, the time frame hurts Santana, as I think his best days (match-wise and popularity-wise) were past him by 1985. And c'mon, people wanted Honky DEAD!
