Posted June 25, 200916 yr comment_5441156 #196 9/4/97 June 11, 1985 Hulk Hogan vs. Tatsumi Fujinami - (WWF Title) - Those forearms by Hogan in the corner looked nasty. Damn. I have never seen Hulk freaking Hogan do a bow and arrow before. Seriously, does he think he is Yamada? Usual solid matchup between these two with Fujinami countering Hogan at various points, getting the Hulkster frustrated and having to regroup. Around the 8 minute mark, things pick up and both guys use power moves to try and put the match away with neither guy gaining a real advantage. Hogan finishes it off with an axe bomber/clothesline thingie. I was digging this match but it may have ended a little too soon. I like it but I think the other two matches are a good representation of the feud so far. I don’t think we need to add this one as well. Still well worth watching. Antonio Inoki vs. Andre the Giant - Not good. Poor Andre was done by this point. Seriously, the neck pinch must have taken 5 minutes. The dropkick over the top rope was cool and the ending was pretty smart but this match doesn’t advance.
