Posted June 25, 200916 yr comment_5441165 June 13, 1985 Andre the Giant & Tony St.Clair vs. Seiji Sakaguchi & Kantaro Hoshino - What a weird matchup. Hoshino has no business being in the ring with Andre but it might be fun. Natives cut St. Clair off from tagging Andre and you don’t blame them. When St. Clair makes the tag, the natives try to double team the Giant. Yep, Hoshino running from Andre was a blast. Hoshino rules. Andre and St. Clair were stuck in the corner so Hshino uses Sakaguchi as a battering ram, usually a position that Andre’s opponents find themselves in. Seriously, I think we may have found our NJ comedy nomination because Hoshino was awesome and Andre played the part of midget killer perfectly. Seriously, watch the cross body block at the end and then the destruction of Hoshino. Nomination. NJ Classics 200
July 12, 200916 yr comment_5441825 I really enjoyed the Andre v. Hoshino and all of their interactions are exactly what you would want from these guys. Still I am not positive that there was enough stuff to make the cut, I am going to second the nomination, because I laughed too hard not to, but it feels like something that might end up on the editing floor.
July 13, 200916 yr comment_5441895 The Andre/Hoshino stuff was an absolute hoot. Both guys had so much charisma. I could see this being a tough cut at the end, but we all love these guys, so maybe not. It moves forward for now.
