Andre the Giant 9/11/81 I always like when these guys match up, as they always do cool Judo throw teases. Outside of that not much though Stan Hansen, Bad News Allen v Antonio Inoki, Riki Choshu 9/11/81 Okay stuff with Hansen being crazy and throwing chairs, but Allen isn’t very good and this dragged a bit Tiger Mask v. Brazo De Plata 9/17/81 Watched on TM collection Tiger Toguchi v. Stan Hansen 9/17/81 Fun stuff with both guys hitting hard, Hansen even breaks out a dropkick. Not as good as the Tiger v. Murdoch match though and below a nomination Andre the Giant v. Antonio Inoki 9/17/81 These two match up well, and I really dug the fighting for the armlock, and Andre’s cravate, but kind of a lame finish keeps this off the set. Tiger Mask v. Steve Travis 10/16/81 Fujinami is always fun in these random junior title defenses, but Travis doesn’t really bring a ton to the table, and nothing about this stands out Inoki/Choshu v.
