Posted June 30, 200916 yr comment_5441364 I figured Iizuka would just get his ass kicked for the whole match, but he surprised me. He hit some nice suplexes and some especially fun flying submission set-ups. The crowd got psyched for his nearfalls and near-taps. This show of spunk seemed to surprise the champs as well, because they resorted to cheating to regain control. Their dirty tactics allowed them to escape with the win. I doubt this will end up on the set, but it was a well-executed story built around a guy who might not make it otherwise. I'll at least flag it for you guys to take a look. Sky Classics 129
August 11, 200916 yr comment_5442693 This was pretty fun, and all four guys looked good. Nice hot finish too. SSM bridge suplex is pretty cool. Let's move this forward, but I don't think it is a slam dunk
August 16, 200916 yr comment_5442841 Early on, there was solid work by both teams with neither team gaining a clear advantage. Fuck, Takano stomping Iizuka into the mat was pretty brutal so I loved it when Iizuka gave him a reciept. Fuck, the match was going along ok until Kosh gave the flying butt bump to Machine and my interest picks up. I love how Takano/Machine realize these guys aren't pushovers and as they get their asses kicked, they keep saving each other from certain defeat. I love the double teams by both guys and everything looked crisp but I am in agreement with you guys. This isn't a slam dunk and more of a mid-level nomination. We'll put this in the doubt category with the option of moving up. I still haven't seen the two matches you guys called slam dunks from the Takano/Machine team so that may bump this off the list.
