Posted July 1, 200916 yr comment_5441373 This was super fun. Vader bullied Hashimikov, really pasting him with punches and short clotheslines. Surprisingly, the Russia played a great underdog. The crowd went apeshit when he dropped Vader with a lariat and hit a couple of big suplexes. Hashimikov was mighty expressive for a stocky Russian working an amateur gimmick and I loved how the Japanese fans got behind him here. The air literally went out of them as Vader smashed him with bigger and bigger moves during the finishing run. This went less than nine minutes, but I have no reservation nominating it. If it's too similar to the earlier version Phil nominated, we can drop one. Sky Classics 130
July 13, 200916 yr comment_5441919 This was tremendous, I loved how Hashimikov kept right in Vaders face, and the crowd was going nuts with his big throws. Vader was awesome here too, pedel was always to the ground, and he would fire back with some vicious looking shots. This should make a set for sure, just loved it.
August 10, 200916 yr comment_5442657 7/13/89 Salman Hashimikov vs. Big Van Vader Sky-A 130 - Fuck, first 90 seconds and Vader is still pissed off about the Cold War. Shit, three minutes in and Hash is still pissed at losing the Cold War. FUUUCCKKKK. Vader should not be ramming into the rails. The rails and the building came unglued. Both of these guys took huge bumps and took huge blows. Early on, I thought Vader would dominate but Hash gave as good as he got. Short match but completely fucking awesome. Easy nomination and I want to see the 1st match between these two but I am afraid I’ll be let down.
