I liked the previous day's Iikuza title challenge, but I loved this one. Iikuza gave another good effort as the spunky guy who fought back harder than the vets expected. Takano and SSM were really on with their offense. And Choshu ruled as the team captain cajoling a great performance out of his rookie mate. He actually kicked Iikuza at one point to fire him up. It paid off as Iikuza fought like a lunatic in the finishing stretch. He actually saved Choshu a bunch of times and literally threw his body between an SSM lariat and his partner. Lots of emotion in this one. It should go on the set.

I don't know why Iizuka even tries to engage Machine in the match because everytime he gets abused everytime. IIzuka slapping Machine only to end up on his back again was pretty fun. I enjoyed the Takano-Iizuka and Takano-Choshu exchanges but there was some serious no-selling whenever they went to tag out their partners. When Iizuka gets Machine in the stump puller submission, you finally cheer that he brought Goliath down. The execution in this match was sloppier than the March match but the crowd was still eating it up. However, that ending was awesome. I wouldn't call it a slam dunk with the execution issues and not being nearly as grea tas the MArch match but this is a good, solid nomination and the 2nd best Takano-Machine tag I have seen.
