Posted July 7, 200916 yr comment_5441635 June 19, 1986 Akira Maeda & Osamu Kido vs. Jimmy Snuka & Samu It was fun to watch Snuka work the mat with Maeda, and there was some nice stuff here, but this was far away from a set level match June 17, 1986 Akira Maeda & Osamu Kido & Yoshiaki Fujiwara vs. Dick Murdoch & Masked Superstar & Samu Some fun unique match ups, and watching Murdoch and Fujiwara wrestle is always worthwhile, but this wasn't anything special Antonio Inoki vs. Andre the Giant Andre was pretty immobile compared to their stuff in the early 80's and 70's, but damn was this a smartly worked cat and mouse match with Andre still being awesome as godzilla. The finish was nuts too, with Inoki getting a submission win to a nuclear hot crowd. I am a mark for this match up clearly but I am nominating this.
