Posted July 10, 200916 yr comment_5441749 This was pretty great, this is a WWF Savage feud I always liked. Santana doesn’t have great offense, but good babyface timing, and Savage is bumping and flying around here, his bump on the five arm. Liked the count out finish, would like to watch all of the available match ups between these two, but this is definitely worth a nomination.
October 9, 201410 yr comment_5632157 I'll give this a Low-End Nomination though could see it falling off. The early Savage on the bike got a big reaction from the crowd. Savage is able to sucker him in. Savage does some mean looking work on Tito's neck. It seemed Savage took a bit too much of the match. Especially since he wins by CO. 1/11/86
June 12Jun 12 comment_6031174 TITO SANTANA vs RANDY SAVAGE (01/11/1986; WWF Boston Garden; 00:18:48) - Tito is wearing a big bandage on his leg saying “Please destroy this leg!!!” Lots of stalling and shtick by Savage to start but he is getting the boos so it is working. Tito grabs the arm bar but a rake to the eyes and Savage takes over. He is now choking and slamming Tito’s throat. Reverse chin lock by Savage and Savage is relying on the rest holds with Tito again. Tito fights back and a thumb in the eye. Then Savage attacks the neck and throat again. The chin locks make sense in that context but not exactly enjoyable to watch. Tito makes the ropes to escape. Macho goes for a Boss Man leap but misses and hits the ropes. Savage tied in the ropes and Tito goes to work. ON the outside, Savage gets the super axe handle and inside, Tito nails a desperation burrito that sends Savage outside. Tito comes out and Savage puts Liz in Tito’s way so he can attack. They end up brawling and Macho ends up winning by count out. This was a LOW-END NOMINATION. There was lots of Macho resting and that big bandage didn’t get attacked once. Come on, man, break his leg!
