Posted July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441974 One of the better Russians matches I have seen, felt like a shootstyle match built around olympic wrestling instead of karate and jujitsu, lots of cool Greco pummeling and throws. This is by far the best Williams has looked and Hashimikov is becoming one of my favorites NJC 373
July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441983 The opening Greco pumeling section between Zangiev and Rheingans was awesome. I didn't get the sense that Zangiev had any idea of how to eat the bump from the Americans double team move, really awward and ugly. The post match was pretty fun as well.
July 15, 200916 yr comment_5441987 This was fun. Rheingans and Zangiev started with some amateur grappling, and the match was full of neat throws and shootish German suplexes. I've come to enjoy Hashimikov as this squat, doughy guy who liked to get in the face of supposed badasses like Doc. Despite the amusing parts, it didn't really congeal into a setworthy match. The guys I like will be represented in other stuff.
September 27, 200916 yr comment_5444588 Those suplexes were absolutely brutal. Because of the shooty nature of the match, I guess we can forgive some of the sloppiness but sme of the move attemopts looked real ugly. Also, Doc ended it pretty quickly and Hashimikov was right there to make the save but didn't know what to do. Wierd. I don't know if I would want to sacrifice anything for this match at this late stage.
