Posted July 17, 200916 yr comment_5442054 Really good high workrate sprint. It's hurt by having neither team really heel it up all that much, but it's still really good action. I haven't seen much of Brunzell and Gagne as a team, but I really like the little I have seen. AJC G+ #46
June 17, 201015 yr comment_5452100 Ricky Steamboat & Atsushi Onita vs Greg Gagne & Jim Brunzell, 6/8/82 (G+ 46) - Good solid tag with all four guys working hard. Christ, Steamboat and Gagne messed up in a horrible cross spot. It doesn’t mean anything in the long run but it looked really bad. Anyway, besides the ugly botch, not too many other bad things to say about it but it does pale in comparison to other tags that are guaranteed to make the set. I would move it forward for now since Onita is featured and don’t think the High Flyers will pop up again. In the end, I won’t fight for it though.
August 10, 201015 yr comment_5454285 I enjoyed this a good bit. Gagne looked less like a wrestler than almost anyone you could imagine, but he really had some spring in his legs and executed his stuff sharply. Athletic, young Onita was also something to see. I wouldn't say the match had a theme per se; it was more just athletic young guys trading the advantage and doing neat stuff. Unfortunately, Onita missed on a dive to the outside and damn near killed himself. So they had to improvise a quick finish. Entertaining match with guys who might not make the set otherwise but like Will, I'm not going to fight for it.
