Antonio Inoki vs. Bruiser Brody - This looked like it might have been in Hawaii -- big non-Japanese stadium crowd with uniformed military folks at ringside. Anyway, despite a big-time atmosphere and a decent opening, this didn't produce any kind of satisfying addition to their feud. It ended abruptly via count-out.

 

June 14, 1984

Antonio Inoki vs. Hulk Hogan - This is listed as a 1985 match but is actually the one from June '84 that I already nominated. On rewatch, I thought the stop-and-start stuff was confusing and really dragged. Still a great atmosphere but the match didn't live up to it. So I'll let this one go the way of the dodo unless Phil loves it.
