Posted August 23, 200916 yr comment_5443238 Starts out crazy with Sano and Liger going at it, you have a really spirited juniors tag, and then HOLY FUCK, Nogami does a Ciclon Ramirez level tope face first into a guard rail, and then Hoshino and Sano lay in possibly the most brutal beating on this set. Was a hot tag away from being a top 20 match, but this should make a set for sure NJC 356
August 24, 200916 yr comment_5443312 This just had a crazed air from the jump with Liger flying around, Hoshino firing punches and Sano dealing all manner of punishment. But what set it apart was the filthy, filthy beating that Nogami took. I normally wouldn't vote for a match without a third act, but this was riveting shit. I wanted him to tag Liger so bad but they just wouldn't stop murdering the poor bastard. Yes from me.
August 25, 200916 yr comment_5443334 Fuck, Liger and Sano go at it non-stop in the first two minutes alone. That dropkick from the apron onto Liger looked especially nasty. Fuck it, if it means Liger gets to work as a one-armed man again then I am all for it. And fuck, Sano and Hoshino go to town on the arm and I love every moment, especially on the outside where they toss Nogami out of the way so they can destroy. I am used to seeing Hoshino as the underdog, not as bitter old fuck who punches the piss out of Nogami. OHHHHHHHH FUUUUUUCCCCKKKKKK. That looked worse than the finish of the Iizuka tag. I was not expecting that at all. Then they keep beating on the poor bastard. Busting on the cut, the baseball slide that looked like it decapitated the poor bastard, Hoshino's punches, Liger breaking up pin attempts with his bad arm, Nogami kicking out at 2.9, the hope spots and dejection Liger shows when he can't make the hot tag. I think that may tell the better story then if Liger would have made the hot tag. Slam dunk nomination and this will be in my Top 20, possibly Top Ten. Gotta think about that one.
