August 24, 200916 yr comment_5443311 Yeah, there was some fun trading of submission attempts and funky suplexes during the match. But then the ending ... my god. We've talked a lot about matches needing moments that set them apart to make a set like this. Well, Nogami's insane dive is just such a moment. It's not a match that will rank high on my ballot, but if I was receiving this set, I'd sure like to see it. So I vote yes.
August 25, 200916 yr comment_5443333 I disagree with you guys on the early part of the match. I thought all four guys looked really good starting off. Iizuka and Nogami were attacking each other like they had something to prove and Hase-Sano was solid. Iizuka was especially active countering nearly everything under the sun by twisting in ways I didn't expect. I wouldn't say Sano and Hase were outshined but they allowed their partners to shine in the match even if the crowd wasn't really excited to watch them. Then you have that fucking insane finish. Nomination.
