Posted September 21, 200916 yr comment_5444355 8/26/83 Killer Khan & Kuniaki Kobayashi vs. Bad News Allen & Tony St. Clair - There was some neat stuff with Bad NEws and Khan early on and Bad News drops Kobayashi on his head after a backbreaker using St. Clair's knee. KObayashi plays native in peril but it is fucking Bad News and St. Clair so not much going on until Khan gets the tag. But fuck, St. Clair sucks. Khan wins with the 2nd rope knee drop. Nobuhiko Takada vs. Kazuo Yamazaki - Kind of wierd as they wrestled primarily on the mat. there were some flashes of cool things like Takada working a Crab. Yamazaki gets out so Takada targets the back and even drops a few elbows on the back to soften him up.... so he can hook a headscissors. It is a match where stuff looked cool but not in the order they did them in. The stretch run was ok but we have seen better hot runs. Seiji Sakaguchi vs. Kengo Kimura - Ok match but nothing special. Sakaguchi wins about ten minutes in. Riki Choshu & Animal Hamaguchi vs. Rusher Kimura & Isamu Teranishi - A decent Choshu's Army tag hurt by the kid who keeps standing up in front of the camera and Rusher's horrible bumping and selling. I know he is old but fuck man, Choshu just delivered a nasty lariat, take the fucking bump. Ends with a shmoz outside the ring that you can't see because of the people standing. Osamu Kido vs. Hercules Lone Hawk - Ugh. Zulu wins with a horrible looking submission hold. It looked like an upside down bearhug but seemed like he couldn't lift him on his shoulder for the Backbreaker. This sucked. Akira Maeda & Tatsumi Fujinami vs. Dick Murdoch & Brutus Beefcake - When Murdoch was in, this was good. When he wasn't, this sucked.
