Posted September 25, 200916 yr comment_5444504 I thought this was a hell of a lot of fun. You had a hot opening, some great interactions between Liger/Owen and Liger/Bigelow (Bam Bam ate a brutal rolling kick) and Tanaka getting his ass kicked. Still, I wouldn't nominate it if it ended abruptly or with a shitty countout. Instead, Bigelow and Tanaka had me marking out for those huge bumps they took off of Riki's lariats. We talk about these matches needing great moments. Well, this had 'em.
September 25, 200916 yr comment_5444514 - Everyone was looking good early on in this. Tanaka takes a nice Liger lariat. The Choshu-Bigelow matchup was the best with some nice exchanges including a headbutt to Choshu's thigh but it was criminally short. Liger-Bam is not as appealing as Liger-Vader though. I enjoyed watching this but there was nothing that stood out enough to keep it above middle of the road until the really hot finish.
September 26, 200916 yr comment_5444568 I always enjoy watching Pat Tanaka take a high backdrop. I liked this a bunch, but I don't know where this stands vs the Tom Pritchard match. I will second the nomination for sure, but I think Childs is going to need to use a selection on this one.
