Posted October 3, 200915 yr comment_5444800 DVD #5 3/2/85 Baba/Kojika/Okuma vs. Kimura/Tsurumi/Ryuma Go - Short clip of a map that was basically just another set-up for an attack on Baba. Brody/Brooks vs. Khan/Eigen - Lots of lumbering and clubbing. Jumbo/Tenryu/Ishikawa vs. Choshu/Yatsu/Teranishi - This went a good 20 minutes but never gathered any kind of momentum or intensity. Yatsu worked hard and the scant Tenryu/Choshu confrontations had some crackle. But they ran these six-mans almost every week, and this wasn't a good one. 3/9/85 Tiger Mask/Fuchi vs. Harley Race/Chavo Guerrero - Most interesting looking match on this episode, so of course, it was like a three-minute clip of the finish. Tenryu/Ishikawa vs. Choshu/Yatsu - This was a decent tag improved by a hot finish. Choshu and Yatsu were abusing Ishikawa and about to put him away, so Tenryu jumped in to clean house. He appeared to have turned the tide, but Choshu faked him out and drilled him with a lariat before finishing the match with another lariat on Ishikawa. The body of the match was a little too flat for a nomination, however. Road Warriors vs. Khan/Hamaguchi - Basically a squash, though it was fun to watch the Warriors come out to Iron Man and a huge pop. Baba/Jumbo vs. Brody/Klaus Wallas - Brody really mailed it in here, so it was a lot of Jumbo abusing Wallas. Blah.
