I don't think Mark Rocco was the best World of Sport worker by any stretch of the imagination, but this by far the best Adams match so far. The fact that Adams still sucked in the best match he's had so far is something to bear in mind. This was classic, all-action Mark Rocco. The complete opposite of the Gil Singh/Steele. Short, fast paced and plenty of heat. People love this shit, so I guess it'll make the set.

I don't think Adams bumped well for Rocco and his offence was as poor as ever. My point of reference for Adams is the other ex-judo guys -- Pat Roach, Ringo Rigsby and Pete Roberts -- and Adams was so far below those guys. I also have Rocco/Jones in the back of my mind, since that was the single best match-up Rocco had in the UK. It was the best Adams match I've seen, though. Finlay looks good in his TV debut against Adams and Bobby Barnes looked good against Adams, but Adams himself has yet to impress. I've never seen his World Class stuff, so I don't know if I'd appreciate him more if I knew he become a better worker later on.
