He Introduces His New Partner And It's Jimmy Golden Ha. Golden says that Vladimir had to go back to Russia to make sure the second coup was done right. Rip Rogers vs. Joey Maggs This is your WCWSN special!. Rogers goes on the attack before he even takes his own ring jacket off. Maggs comes back by tossing Rogers with his ring jacket. Rogers with a double axe off the top to the floor. Rogers selling of Maggs offense was pretty fun. There is a surprisingly long "parity" section in this with some decent action. Maggs hits a nice cross body for a nearfall and then accidentally crotches Maggs on the top, hitting him with a superplex for the finish. Good little tv match. Robert Gibson vs. Mighty Yankee Really basic match. Interview w/ Jim Cornette Cornette shooting on Magic Johnson, Pee Wee Herman, Jimmy Swaggert, Jerry Fallwell, and the Gov. of Kentucky. EXTRA Highlights Of The Dutch Mantell vs. Scott Armstrong Match From Last Week Promo By Dutch Mantell And Ron Wright Hysterical. Tim Horner vs. Barry Horowitz These two had a great match in the WWF so I was interested to see how this played out. Early mat stuff was fun. Really liked Barry doing a jumping head butt over the ref to set up his Euro uppercuts in the corner spot. Fun spot with Horner decking Barry off a corner charge. Barry hit a really nice side suplex. Horowitz offense run is fun and totally different than what you would expect from pretty much anyone else in the SMW territory. There was a lot of Barry schtick in this. Good match. Interview w/ Tim Horner Promo By Buddy Landell Awesome promo. Brian Lee vs. Dutch Mantell Not much of a match, but the finish was pretty funny. Interview w/ Ron Wright Interview w/ Bob Holly. Jim Cornette Joins Him Interview w/ Brian Lee The Wright and Holly stuff is hilarious here. Hector Guerrero vs. Tommy Angel Hector does about fifty headscissors variations in this, including several that are so telegraphed that they almost don't even look impressive. Was impressive to see Hector hit a plancha, but Angle doesn't sell it at all. Fun spots, but not really a good match. Interview w/ Ivan Koloff And Jimmy Golden Highlights Of Brian Lee vs. Dutch Mantell From Last Week Interview w/ Dutch Mantell Dutch introduces an apprentice of sorts. Interview w/ Brian Lee, Robert Gibson, And Tim Horner Promo By Ron Wright Wright is awesome. Killer Kyle vs. Rikki Nelson Nelson gave one of the funniest live promo's I'v ever seen at a show in Summerville, SC about a year back. He has a nice crossbody here. The horrible botch on the top rope sunset flip was sad. Ron Wright helps a heel again. Tim Horner gets an award! Who cares. Promo By Bob Holly This is profoundly awful. Brian Lee vs. Brad Anderson Post-match brawl with Carl Styles was the only thing of note. The Fantastics vs. Ivan Koloff/Jimmy Golden I liked Golden in this a lot as he just looked mean as fuck. Koloff sort of needlessly blading was odd. Vlad runs in to help the heels win. Decent match. Interview w/ Ron Wright Interview w/ Bob Holly. Jim Cornette Joins Him Interview w/ Ivan Koloff, Vladimir Koloff, And Jimmy Golden. The Fantastics And Tim Horner Attack Them And They Brawl To End The Show This was a pretty fun way to end the show.
