Hector with a pretty decent looking surfboard. Hector's diving headbutt off the top looked pretty shitty, but the rest of this was a lot of fun. Interview w/ Terry Gordy Highlights Of Rip Rogers Doing Squats From Last Week When Tim Horner Kicked The Chair Out From Under Him Promo By Rip Rogers Tim Horner vs. Rip Rogers Opening mat work was fine but the best part of the beginning was Rogers going for a blindside leapfrog, getting punched in the face and selling it like it it hurt his feelings. Damn Horner has a good straight right. Rogers takes over and hits his diving double axe. Rogers tries to suplex Horner from inside-out, but Horner reverses for a hope spot. Horner's tope was fun and it was well set up. Rogers also takes a back body drop on the floor. Nice delayed sunset flip for the finish. This is the best tv match so far. Maybe a hair better than Orndorff v. Horowitz. Interview w/ Bob Armstrong. Jim Cornette Comes Out And Interrupts Him +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Robert Gibson vs. Joe Cazana I actually think this was my favorite Gibson match so far as Cazana got over well for his stuff, hit a nice punch and bumped big off the missed elbow. Interview w/ Bob Armstrong Bullet announces teams for the tag tourney. Highlight Video On The Wild Bunch YES. Billy Black! EXTRA Hector Guerrero vs. Keith Hart Keith Hart is from Oak Ridge and looks like a nuclear mutant. Nice opening exchange with fun counters and headscissors from both guys. Really cool arm stretcher and reversal on the mat from Hart. Nice delayed belly-to-belly from Hector. Cool headscissors and bridge escape from Hart. Hart steals Hector's flip off the back body drop but then Hector does one of his own. Hart with a crazy bump off of a missed cross body to the floor and Hector follows up with a plancha. Hector goes to suplex him from outside in, but Hart falls on top. Hart goes for a springboard moonsault but Hector knees him in the faces and pins him with the rolling cradle. Easily the most fun match so far. Interview w/ Brian Lee, Tim Horner, And The Fantastics Local promo Interview w/ Jim Cornette Jim Cornette Debut's His New Tag Team At Hooters. His Tag Team Gets Mugged By The Hooter Girls EXTRA Bob Holly vs. Paul Miller This was pretty sloppy in spots though Miller was trying really hard. Interview w/ Ron Wright And Dirty White Boy This was another great effort from Ron Wright! EXTRA The Maulers vs. The Rich Cousins (First Round Of The Tag Team Title Tournament) Man Jack Victory looks awful in this and Rip Morgan executing a running stomp has to be the worst highspot I've seen so far. This wasn't any good at all. Interview w/ The Fantastics And Tommy Rogers Interview w/ Jimmy Golden Both of these promos were used to set up the follow match. The Fantastics/Tommy Rogers vs. The Wild Bunch/Jimmy Golden Rogers atttacks Golden at the commentary station and they end up wildly brawling in the ring. Wild Bunch runs out and attacks the Fultons who are on the floor. Golden still has his ring jacket on when he gets hit with a double dropkick. Like the Bobby Fulton/Joel Deaton exchanges a good bit. Jackie hits a spin kick and then a DDT on Deaton for a nearfall. Billy Black did his front flip head fake, but then gets clotheslined over the ropes anyhow. Then Bobby Fulton dropkicks Black who takes a huge bump on the floor and then gets hit with a plancha. Billy Black ducks down Bobby gets hit with a blindside clothesline from Deaton. Fulton tries to headscissors out, but gets dragged back into the heel corner. All hell breaks loose after a sunset flip attempt but Rogers dropkicks Fulton on top of Golden for the fall. There was a good bit of fun/cool shit in this but it wasn't that well put together and I really wanted to see a bigger heat section.
