Only a bit though as this is the blood soaked war you would expect. The muta misting your opponents blood is some grizzly shit. I loved the big tope, then the German suplex and thought that would have been a better finish then the small package. Nobody bleeds like Pirata Morgan. Obvious set pick and something folks are going to love, felt like a top 15 rather then a top 5 match though. Mogur v. Mascara Ano 2000 9/23/88- Mascara contra Mascara Kind of odd match. Really nasty slams and suplexes, which was kind of weird in lucha. Mogur hit a nasty liger bomb to win the first fall and 2000 was landing sick spine busters. Stuff looked especially hard on the lucha mats. Match had some slow spots, but the finish run was pretty great, especially that finishing suplex. Not a high end match, but it is a big mask match with some great moments and it should make a set.

El Dandy 9/23/88-Cabellera contra Cabellera I may get a copy of this next week, I have been waiting since 2005 or so to watch this match (that's when I found it existed). I shouldn't have read this review, I was (perhaps unrealistically) expecting it to top Chicana vs MS-1.
July 26, 201312 yr comment_5553236 Caballera contra Caballera: El Dandy vs. Pirata Morgan (9/23/88) Yeah this should be the shit as Pirata jumps Dandy on the floor as he comes to the ring and fucking bludgeons him to a pulp then sprays his blood in the air ala Muta. Pirata takes the first fall and keeps kicking his ass with Dandy bumping hard for him but Dandy makes a fiery comeback in the 2nd fall taking it with the figure-four. Dandy starts getting his revenge in the 3rd fall as he takes Pirata to the floor and gives him payback from the 1st fall as he bloodies him up and sprays his blood in the air like Pirata did him. Pirata juices even more than Dandy did which is saying something and this is fucking war. The mat is covered in blood as these guys try to put each other away hitting and missing big spots. Dandy about folded Pirata up with a backdrop suplex but it wasn't enough to put him away then Pirata would go to the figure-four trying to put Dandy away but he wouldn't quit. Dandy comes back from that hitting a huge tope suicida to the floor before putting him away with a desperate inside cradle to get the win. This was simply fantastic and a grand slam nomination. Mascara contra Mascara: Mascara Ano Dos Mil vs. Mogur (9/30/88) Mogur took As Charro's mask on the Anniversario show the year before and now he puts it on the line against MA2K here. There was an intense style here with these guys taking some serious bumps on the mat especially Mogur nuking MA2K with a Liger Bomb to take the 1st fall. MA2K comes back in the 2nd fall working over Mogur's back slamming him hard on the mat then finishing him off with a Boston Crab. The mask ripping would begin in the 3rd fall as both guys step up their intensity even more here as they are trying to save their hoods. MA2K hit a big tope suicida to the floor but Mogur comes fighting back and it's turning into a war of attrition with both men going hard for the win thus lots of false finishes. Mogur hits another Liger Bomb although not as hard and MA2K kicks out. Mogur would hit his own big dive to the floor and both men were almost counted out. Mogur then thought he got a submission and let go which was a mistake because MA2K fucking destroyed him with a backdrop suplex to get the win. That finish was amazing and this is a very strong nomination.
