Posted November 28, 200915 yr comment_5446073 Sure, they moved in slow motion, but this was still a lot of fun. The crowd's connection to Baba was just incredible. They popped big when he countered Kimura into an armbar, and they loved it when these two old goats slugged toe-to-toe in the center of the ring. The ending with Kimura's foot on the rope seemed chintzy, but I'll throw this on the block. Ginnetty 1985 TV Disc 14
June 18, 201015 yr comment_5452150 Giant Baba vs. Rusher Kimura, 6/21/85 (TV14) - Early on, Rusher controls a headlock but Baba counters with a leg sweep that sends Rusher out to regroup. Inside, Baba hooks on an armbar and they work in and out of the armbar. Rusher goes back to control with a head scissors but they aren’t doing much with the hold. Eventually Kimura resorts to choking but that pisses Baba off but Rusher still controls. Hell, Rusher hits a lariat which is the first meaningful move in the match after a weird/botched blow to Baba’s gut. 15 seconds later, Baba is giving the Hart Attack clothesline, waits for Rusher to position himself and pins him in a screwy finish. Ugh, no vote here. This didn’t seem like a complete match and what was on here was uninspiring.
