Posted November 30, 200915 yr comment_5446080 Definite step up from the typical TV tag. The central storyline saw Baba and Jumbo go after Hansen's lariat arm only for Hansen and Blackwell to return the favor on Jumbo's wrapped right wing. Good focus from both teams, and Jumbo did a standout job of selling. This also featured some random fun moments, like freakishly tall Baba standing on the freakishly fat midsection of Blackwell and Jumbo bouncing off of Blackwell like a scrawny junior. The ending seemed a little casual but I'll throw this up for further review. Ginnetty 1985 TV Disc 16

In fact, him and Hansen are working really well as a tag team early on. In fact, when Baba gets in the ring, him and Hansen work solid but I love Jumbo and Baba doing a double arm ringer on Hansen to damage those lariat arms. Hansen fights back though and tags in Blackwell. It is kind of cool that Blackwell is so short because it makes Baba’s knee lifts and kicks look more effective. When Jumbo gets in, they damage his arm in a nice turnaround. IT looks like he is toast so Blackwell tries to go for broke and jumps off the top rope but he misses and gets pinned. I had a lot of fun watching this match. The appearance of Blackwell may be enough to push this match forward because all four guys worked really hard here. Nothing too deep or high-end but good stuff all around.
September 30, 201015 yr comment_5456435 Giant Baba & Jumbo Tsuruta vs. Crusher Blackwell & Stan "The Lariat" Hansen (7/13/85) Jumbo's right elbow is bandaged up so that will be focused on here surely but early on the natives work over Hansen's lariat arm which was par for the course in these matches. I loved the Baba/Blackwell exchanges as it was such a styles clash with Baba being tall and skinny and Blackwell being short and fat. Jumbo would hurt himself delivering lariats to Blackwell so the gaijin immediately went to work on it. Blackwell works hard here even jumping up top where he misses a big splash but the end just came out of nowhere with no build which irked me. I'm not as high on this as you guys but it should go forward for consideration.
