Steve Simpson vs. Jerry Allen (4/18/86)

Funny to see the fans boo both faces and Allen's reaction to the booing is great as he had this WTF look going on. Good basic match about what you would expect.

"Ravishing" Rick Rude vs. Brian Adias (4/18/86)

Interesting match here as you have the WCCW champ vs. the Texas champ which didn't happen much in World Class. Adias though is treated pretty much like a jobber here as he gets little offense and gets pinned after a clothesline.

“Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. “Mr. Electricity” Steve Regal (4/18/86)

Interesting matchup here that starts with Regal throwing some nice punches so Kerry decides to up the ante by just jacking Regal’s jaw with a discus punch then more punches followed up with another discus punch. Regal would get some offense in but it wasn’t long before Kerry locked in the abdominable claw with him picking up Regal above his head and dropping him for the win. Okay for what it was.

Bruiser Brody & The Missing Link vs. Terry “Bamm Bamm” Gordy & The Great Kabuki (4/18/86)

I gotta give Michael Hayes credit as he comes to the ring wearing attire that he wore 5 years earlier in Georgia. With these four you knew it would be a brawl at the bell and it lived up to the hype as all four men just started beating the crap out of each other. Brody & Gordy maul each other on the floor while Kabuki & Link have their battle in the ring then Brody & Gordy would take it up the ramp. Kabuki puts Link in his nerve hold before he would break free and used his headbutts to punish Kabuki. Link would go after Hayes allowing Kabuki to get ready to go after him but Link would turn around and kept working over Kabuki. Kabuki would gouge Link in the eye though as both men’s paint was wearing off their faces and Marc Lowrance gets on the house mic announcing that Brody & Gordy are brawling on the streets. Kabuki would go back to his nerve hold until Link would fire it up and made a comeback. Hayes would slide the nunchuks to Kabuki who would use them for the DQ. Kabuki would choke Link until Sunshine threw in a chair who would get to it but Kabuki would leave. We really need to put the Brody/Gordy part of this on as an extra.

Tony Atlas vs. Master G (George Wells) (12/5/86)

Atlas dances with kids before the match which was awkward. Master G has the blonde hair looking like Sweet Daddy Sikicito and has gotten fat over the years. Not a good match as both men were pretty lazy at this time and it took Percy Pringle to make it interesting as he bumped for Atlas before bringing out Matt Borne who would run in for the DQ. Atlas then got his ass kicked after the match.

Bruiser Brody vs. The Grappler (Len Denton) (12/5/86)

This was a Brody as a wrestler match where he breaks out holds and gives no offense to Grappler.

Dingo Warrior (Jim Hellwig) vs. Killer Tim Brooks (12/5/86)

Dingo coming out to Holding Out For A Hero by Bonnie Tyler is awesome. This match sucked of course but the main thing I noticed here was the amount of empty seats. This was the beginning of a real bad time for WCCW.

Abdullah the Butcher vs. Mark Youngblood (12/5/86)

Abby destroys Mark with a security rail and nearly breaks his neck suplexing him on the top rope which were the highlights of this squash.

World Class Six-Man Tag Titles: Kevin, Lance, & Mike Von Erich © vs. Brian Adias, Black Bart, & Al Madril (12/5/86)

Von Erichs got sneak attacked before the match but they made their own comeback and ran them out. Bart starts out getting punished by the Von Erichs because every time he tried to make a tag his partners wouldn’t oblige. We get a big clip from here into Kevin playing FIP but it would soon break out into a 6-way brawl with Kevin hitting a dropkick off the top rope with a cradle to get the win. The wild brawl would continue after the match in the ring and on the floor. Fun but that clip was horrible.

Steve Simpson vs. Jerry Allen (4/18/86)

So apparently, all of the "WCCW Volume X" discs have that error I talked about before where the video intermittently pauses. So be it. Really good match here, with Allen working as a subtle heel and Simpson looking good making his firey babyface comeback at the end. Not quite enough for a nomination, but it gets the full Worldwide point.

Dingo Warrior (Jim Hellwig) vs. Killer Tim Brooks (12/5/86)

Hey, this kinda stunk. Who woulda thought?
