Posted February 1, 201015 yr comment_5447507 This starts with the Simpsons vs. Apollo/Falk/Hood match I just watched on the previous show. Next are clips of Adias vs. Wild Bill Irwin at Reunion on 12/25/87. Next is the heart attack angle which in full is a slam dunk extra along with other clips from this feud. Kerry then cuts a promo about Fritz’s health situation. Steel Cage Match for the World Class World Heavyweight Title: Al Perez © vs. Kerry Von Erich (12/25/87) This is the match after the Fritz angle so Kerry is a little distracted. There was some fine back and forth action to start until Perez would get the advantage and used a sleeper hold to keep Kerry at bay. Kerry would fight out of it though and hooked in one of his own until Perez ran him into the cage. There would be a clip coming back with Kerry having the iron claw on Perez while both men were on the top rope holding onto the cage. Perez is on the verge of falling over the cage but he brings himself back in and would end up jumping down with Kerry getting caught in the ropes. Kerry would come back though locking in the figure-four but Perez would get out of it and at this time Kerry was really feeling the pain from his foot injury as he was moving slower than normal. Kerry would hit a couple of discus punches on Perez before going after Hart and then we get a ref bump allowing Hart to use the chain on his handcuff on Kerry. Perez would then cover Kerry for the win. This had some good stuff but fell apart at the end because of Kerry’s problems so not a nomination.
