Posted February 5, 201015 yr comment_5447606 Wild Bill Irwin vs. The Real Thing (Rip Morgan) (2/26/88) Irwin works over Ripper good until the Angel of Death runs in for the DQ and Irwin gets doubled up on until the Link makes the save. John Tatum & Jack Victory vs. Jeff Raitz & Jason Sterling (2/26/88) Sterling was fun here mocking Tatum then demanding that Victory tag in because Tatum wasn't big enough for him and almost gets Victory with a cradle before tagging Raitz in. Raitz would then get his ass kicked as the Simpsons come down to watch. Sterling would get the hot tag and dropkicked his ass off before Victory made a blind tag to Tatum who climbed up top as Sterling hit his feet on the back move. Tatum then just murdered Sterling with a clothesline off the top rope for the win. The heels would taunt the Simpsons into coming in the ring but ran away when they did. This was an awesome segment and we should get this on as an extra. Then we get a great promo by Terry Taylor regarding his hatred of Chris Adams. Terry Taylor vs. Bobby Fulton (2/26/88) This is quite the matchup as it's the battle of the Fantastic Ones. Taylor mocks Fulton early with a strut so Fulton makes him pay and this has some good aggressive wrestling before Fulton eats a Hot Shot by Taylor. Taylor would then go to work hitting a nice Arn-style spinebuster before Fulton comes back firing punches in bunches. Fulton would go for a sunset flip off the apron and got it but Taylor would drop on him and grabbed the ropes for the win. This was fun but very short which is a shame. World Class Six-Man Tag Titles: Angel of Death, Iceman King Parsons, & Buddy Jack Roberts © vs. Steve Simpson, Kerry & Kevin Von Erich (2/26/88) This goes to a break before the match starts and we come back to Kerry & Iceman tieing it up so I don't know what we missed. This has an interesting formula as the faces control a huge chunk of the match especially Simpson who got a lot of offense here. Taylor & Adams would have a brawl on the floor and as this happens Simpson hits a diving body press on Roberts off the top rope but AOD would club him in the head allowing Roberts to get the pin even though Kevin broke up the pin in front of Bronko Lubich at 2 who decided to keep on counting. This had a weird formula and was a decent match but it didn't click for me.

With a bigger babyface comeback, I could actually see it going on as a match, but as is, it still works as an extra. Terry Taylor interview This was good stuff. Maybe an extra.
