Posted February 15, 201015 yr comment_5447852 Terry Taylor vs. Steve Casey (6/3/88) Taylor is awesome on the mic to start the match leading to Casey attacking him. Casey would get Taylor in an O’Connor Roll but Bronko Lubich wouldn’t make the count because he hadn’t rung the bell yet. Casey really looks like Mini Lex Luger here and would give Taylor a fight but ate a big piledriver by Taylor that almost won him the match but Casey got his foot on the rope. Taylor bumps for Casey as he makes a comeback until Taylor counters a sunset flip by Casey from the apron to the ring using his hands on the ropes to get the win. Nice little match thanks to Taylor. Taylor then is interviewed by Percy Pringle and this is solid. Next is a video telling us that Kamala is coming back. Then we get a Michael Hayes video which was good. Pringle then interviews Akbar about the return of Kamala. The Samoan Swat Team (Fatu & Samu) vs. Bob Bradley & Jeff Raitz (6/3/88) SST look awesome. Pringle then interviews Kerry about Kamala coming back and defending his title in general. Iceman King Parsons vs. Ron Ellis (6/3/88) Squash. Then we get clips of Lawler beating Curt Hennig for the AWA title as he is coming into World Class. Pringle interviews Parsons & Buddy again about their union against Gordy & Hayes. Buddy Roberts vs. Maniac Matt Borne (6/3/88) Before the match, Borne chills for a second with a blonde at ringside so Buddy decides he wants to do the same thing but she isn’t feeling him so Borne attacks him. Borne would pound on Buddy relentlessly and ties him up in the ropes so he can really take it to him. Borne beats on Roberts like he owed him money until Buddy would put on his glove and would nail Borne with a heart punch in his first offensive move of the match. This was fun but very short. Texas Tornado Match: Terry "Bamm Bamm" Gordy & Shaun Simpson vs. "Hollywood" John Tatum & Jack Victory (6/3/88) Another war at the bell between these teams as Gordy & Shaun run down to the ring and come in a punchin as soon as they get there. Bronko Lubich had no idea what to do and just moved his hands around as these four beat each other's ass in and out of the ring. Tatum & Victory are bumping machines here especially Tatum who wasn't afraid to bump over the top rope to the floor on numerous occassions. The heels would get the advantage though starting mainly with Victory hitting a piledriver on Gordy who would roll to the floor allowing a double-team on Simpson. Gordy tried to get in to help out Shaun but Victory would continue to cut him off until he would finally eat some right hands and a clothesline. Gordy locked on the Oriental Spike as Buddy Roberts showed up who handed Tatum the Freebird Haircream who tried to blind Gordy but Shaun returned with a steel chair to clean house and forcing Bronko Lubich to call for a DDQ. This was an all-action great brawl and a fairly easy nomination.
