Posted February 27, 201015 yr comment_5448104 Steve Cox vs. Botswana Beast (12/9/88) This was ugly and had a interesting pinfall as Cox grabbed Beast by the legs under his arms ready to lock on a Boston Crab but stands still with Beast keeping his shoulders down and Bronko Lubich counting the pin. Cactus Jack Manson & Gary Young vs. Mickey Finn & Solomon Grundy (12/9/88) Grundy teaming with a jobber is odd. Spotlight match for the heels featuring Cactus hitting his big elbow from the apron to the floor. Akbar then cuts a promo with his new charges afterwards. Embry then cuts a promo about the bounty on his head. Then we get a promo by Fuller & Golden. Next is clips of the Devastation Inc./Embry feud up to this point. Extra material. Cowboy Tony Falk vs. Frogman LeBlanc (12/9/88) This was quite the match but Falk won. Falk then cut a promo after the match that Embry called him out of retirement to help him in his war and he would do the job. Buddy Jack then cuts a promo about how great the SST is. Brickhouse Brown, “Flamboyant” Eric Embry, & Jeff Jarrett vs. Kamala, Iceman King Parsons, & Skandor Akbar (12/9/88) They go to a commercial after the intros and come back to the match in progress which I hate. The interactions between Brick & Iceman were great here at the start with Iceman running to tag in Kamala when Brick was tagged in then Brick taunting Iceman by dancing all over the ring. Then we go to a break with Brick & Kamala in the ring but come back to Parsons & Embry in the ring so we are missing parts of this. Brick & Iceman would finally face off with Iceman bumping all over the place for all the faces after taking punches from all of them. It would soon break down into a 6-way brawl as the show goes off the air. The finish did air on the next show.
June 9, 201015 yr comment_5451784 Steve Cox vs. Botswana Beast (12/9/88) I liked this more than Kris, although that was certainly an odd finish. Brickhouse Brown, “Flamboyant” Eric Embry, & Jeff Jarrett vs. Kamala, Iceman King Parsons, & Skandor Akbar (12/9/88) Whats shown is certainly entertaining. We'll see how the rest plays out on the next show.
