Brickhouse Brown vs. Jerry Newton (12/18/88)

Squash and Brick cuts a great promo on Iceman afterwards.

Young & Cactus then cut a promo on Embry next.

Jeff Jarrett vs. Frogman LeBlanc (12/18/88)

Squash and Jarrett cuts a promo afterwards on Devastation Inc.

Akbar then cuts a promo on Embry.

Robert Fuller & Jimmy Golden vs. Steve Cox & Cowboy Tony Falk (12/18/88)

Falk is subbing for Jimmy Garvin here. Fans are into hating the Stable here which is good for them and they are great as chickenshit heels of course. This was a pretty good match as Falk did a fine job as the FIP with the fans just hating the Stable and Sylvia but the match ended abruptly without Cox even getting a hot tag. Stable then cuts a promo afterwards.

Embry then cuts a promo on Akbar.

“Flamboyant” Eric Embry vs. “Gorgeous” Gary Young (12/18/88)

Again this match was basically a backdrop for yet another angle involving the two crews. It was a lot of fun though and a slam dunk extra.

“Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich vs. Sid Vicious (12/18/88)

Sid being here is odd to see as well and has Akbar in his corner. I tell you what this was a damn good match with lots of heat considering Sid was green as hell and Kerry had his moments at this time. It ended on a countout as Kerry bashed Sid’s head on the fire door with both men being counted out. Fun stuff.
