US Jr. Heavyweight Title: Scott Armstrong © vs. Bill Ash (7/15/85)

Armstrong shows a lot of fire here throwing some great punches and dropkicks but Ash who was a damn good defensive wrestler took it but would never get pinned. Scott went for a flying schoolboy but Ash turned it over and sat on top of him holding his tights to win the title. Scott is pissed after the match but the decision is final. This went almost 10 minutes and had some solid action and it goes on the block.

Next we get the old Lord Humongous video.

Then we get dueling promos by Bob & Scott Armstrong against Bill Ash & Ron Fuller.

No DQ for the Southeastern Tag Titles: The Nightmares © vs. Johnny "Crash" Rich & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich (7/15/85)

Mr. Class comes out talking shit on Rich which was a distraction for the Nightmares to go on the attack but it wasn't long before the Rich's started kicking ass from the ring to the floor. Nightmares were great bumpers and it shows again here as they pinball all over the place selling their ass off. I loved Tommy holding a Nightmare by his mask as he kept punching him in the face. Johnny is on fire too hitting a great running kick right in a Nightmare's face on the floor. This was just a total asskicking for the first 7 minutes of the match before the Nightmares would finally go on offense as we go to a break and we come back to Wildfire eating a steel chair on the floor but would soon get the hot tag to Johnny who cleans house on the Nightmares but they would double him up to regain the advantage. Wildfire woudl get the hot tag and it would break down into a 4-way brawl which would also bring out Mr. Class who occupied Tommy enough for the Nightmares to finish off Johnny with their Tombstone/diving headbutt combo to retain their titles. They would continue to beat on Johnny until Wildfire & Steve Armstrong would run them off. Then we would have dueling promos from the parties involved which was heated. We get around 13 minutes of a 17 minute match and this was a blast. Fairly easy nomination.

Next we get a cool little segment featuring highlights in slow motion to some wild 80's music which I have no idea who the artist is. Definite extra.

Southeastern Heavyweight Title: "Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol © vs. "Exotic" Adrian Street (7/15/85)

Idol coming out to Dirty White Boy by Foreigner is interesting but that is blown away by his ring attire which was a sequined tanktop and white leather chaps. Some masked jobber named El Diablo shows up and demands Idol put his title on the line against him which Idol accepts. Idol starts beating his ass before Street shows up talking to Gordon Solie and is pissed that he is wrestling El Diablo not him. Idol finishes off Diablo with the Las Vegas Leglock then rips off his mask as Street comes down to the ring calling Idol a coward which pissed off Idol but Street would attack him from behind and threw him to the floor where he worked him over. Street totally dominates Idol but Idol would hulk up and started teeing off with awesome punches as the fans go nuts. Street would go to the floor where Miss Linda handed him something which he would use to KO Idol as he had him for a backdrop suplex with Idol kicking out right at 3. Street wins the title and the fans are livid. This only was 5 minutes and the angle leading to this was the main thing here. Then we would get a dueling promo with Idol & Humongous against Street & The Flame.

Texas Death Match: "Tennessee Stud" Ron Fuller vs. "Bullet" Bob Armstrong (7/29/85)

Bullet comes out blazing to start but Stud would squelch that as he put knux on his fist and dropped the Bullet to win the first fall. Stud would continue to work over Bullet until the Bullet pulled out him some knux to win the second fall. Bullet would tie up the Stud in the ropes and just kept punching Stud until Jimmy Golden showed up to KO the Bullet with something as Stud broke free to win the third fall. Bullet couldn't get up by the count of 10 so Stud wins. There was some great punches thrown here and I'm throwing this on the block because this was very fun.

Next we get the slam dunk extra of a segment called A Day In the Life of The Nightmares set to their version of the infamous Road Warriors theme song but this time it's Jimmy Hart singing then it kicks into We Are The Champions by Queen as the Nightmares party at the beach drinking beer with their women. This was so fucking awesome.

Loser Leaves Town Match: "Wildfire" Tommy Rich vs. Mr. Class (Ken Timbs) (7/29/85)

Rich is hot early but Class would use dirty tactics to get the advantage and ripped off a bandage on Rich's head so he could work over an old cut. Class was relentless here with Tommy doing what he does best and that is bleeding which got the fans going as Rich would try to fight back but failed. Rich would start throwing punches though and he got the advantage back teeing off on Class in the corner but Class would load up his knee in the process. Class would knock Rich down but would miss a diving kneedrop off the middle rope allowing Rich to hit a piledriver and a diving fistdrop from the second rope to get the win. This went 7 minutes and was yet another fun match and another one that goes on the block.

Then we get the introduction of Nick Patrick into the Rat Patrol as he replaces the injured Johnny Rich as Steve's partner.

Solie then interviews the Stud & Golden about the situation with the Bullet from earlier and they demand a loser leaves town cage match with Bob and whatever partner he could find to face them. This is the beginning one of the all-time great angles and is a definite extra.

"Universal Heartthrob" Austin Idol vs. "Exotic" Adrian Street (7/29/85)

This is a non-title match and Street debuts the new pink Southeastern title belt. Street is awesome here being himself so Idol just jacks his jaw to shut him up and starts beating the piss out of Street on the floor. Idol is awesome here with his punches but Street would fire back with his various offensive strikes including some vicious European uppercuts. Idol would counter at atomic drop taking Street's leg out so he could begin working on it to set up the Las Vegas Leglock. Miss Linda would jump in the ring though for the DQ and Street would throw perfume in Idol's face which blinded him. Still waiting on a good long match between these two.

Continental Heavyweight Title: Lord Humongous © vs. The Flame (Jody Hamilton) (7/29/85)

Still odd seeing Humongous the babyface. Jody was on his last legs at this time but was still a fun worker to watch just for psychology but Humongous wasn't good at all here and throws some of the shittiest punches in a territory with some of the best punches of the era. Flame would eventually load his mask and with Humongous he had to headbutt him in the back of the head since he is wearing the hockey mask and does that to win the title. Crappy match and Humongous is getting ready to go to Mid-South.
