No DQ for the Southeastern Tag Titles: The Nightmares © vs. Johnny "Crash" Rich & "Wildfire" Tommy Rich (7/15/85)

Mr. Class comes out talking shit on Rich which was a distraction for the Nightmares to go on the attack but it wasn't long before the Rich's started kicking ass from the ring to the floor. Nightmares were great bumpers and it shows again here as they pinball all over the place selling their ass off. I loved Tommy holding a Nightmare by his mask as he kept punching him in the face. Johnny is on fire too hitting a great running kick right in a Nightmare's face on the floor. This was just a total asskicking for the first 7 minutes of the match before the Nightmares would finally go on offense as we go to a break and we come back to Wildfire eating a steel chair on the floor but would soon get the hot tag to Johnny who cleans house on the Nightmares but they would double him up to regain the advantage. Wildfire woudl get the hot tag and it would break down into a 4-way brawl which would also bring out Mr. Class who occupied Tommy enough for the Nightmares to finish off Johnny with their Tombstone/diving headbutt combo to retain their titles. They would continue to beat on Johnny until Wildfire & Steve Armstrong would run them off. Then we would have dueling promos from the parties involved which was heated. We get around 13 minutes of a 17 minute match and this was a blast. Fairly easy nomination.
