Posted March 17, 201015 yr comment_5448461 I've been watching 87 discs for the last few days and nom I'm back in 84. You can so tell the difference in how hot the territory is in comparison to 87. Chic Donovan squash Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski This is a pretty damn good bout. Adams was so fun watching him work a headlock, plus all the reversals and stuff was oh so fun. Adams is so good at blending different styles in to his own. In this bout you saw some Lucha,Japan British, and American psychology. Kiniski was solid here, and did a good job working over Adams neck. Plus we get some Jimmy Garvin at the finish, and a nice piece of business afterwards. I'm going to give it a low end nomination. The angle at the end put it over as a nomination for me. Butch Reed squash. I'm suprised they never had him and Kerry on a big show. They could have done the old weightlifting angle between the 2. We get a killer Badstreet USA video. We should have a disc of extras on just the different variations of this video. Kevin Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy This was just a hard hitting brawl with real good psychology from Gordy. I was wincing from watching some of these blows. I've got to give Gordy props for just killing Kevin's neck with a varirty of kick ass offense. Plus we get a kick ass pull apart after the bout. It wasn't a long bout. It was 8 minutes with the pull apart, but damn was it intense and had a "real feeling" It felt very All-Japan heavy in its stiffness, and realism.Nomination. Fuck I love these guys. '
