Posted March 17, 201015 yr comment_5448462 Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski This is a pretty damn good bout. Adams was so fun watching him work a headlock,plus all the reversals and stuff was oh so fun. Adams is so good at blending different styles in to his own. In this bout you saw some Lucha,Japan British, and American psychology. Kiniski was solid here, and did a good job working over Adams neck. Plus we get some Jimmy Garvin at the finish, and a nice piece of business afterwards. I'm going to give it a low end nomination. The angle at the end put it over as a nomination for me.
April 21, 201015 yr comment_5449778 Match is good thanks to Adams. Jimmy Garvin shows up near the end sporting the American Title, which Adams had won in that awesome cage match the night before, but that Garvin stole on his way out of the ring. Despite Adams' best efforts to remain focused, Garvin's taunting proves too much, and a distracted Adams falls to a schoolboy from Kiniski. Adams and Garvin get into it afterwords, with Garvin getting the upper hand when Adams gets tied up in the ropes. He dangles the belt in front of him, and then lays it on the mat, telling Adams to come and get it. Sunshine sneaks in behind Garvin to grab the belt, but he catches her in the act, and is about to do something horrible when Adams breaks free and KO's Garvin with the Superkick, bringing the belt back to it's rightful owner. Then Adams swipes Garvin's entrance gear, just to teach him a lesson. The match was good, albeit not a nomination, but the ending and the aftermath are definite extras. June 14, 201015 yr comment_5451978 Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski WCCW 3/24/84 - Kiniski and Adams are really keeping it basic early on but in these exhibition type matches, it just seems like more of a contest than the entertainment we are used to. I enjoyed the match but I sort of wished Garvin wouldn’t have come down. Granted, it gave Kiniski the win but I was enjoying the “athletic” give and take of the match. I enjoyed the match but wouldn’t go to bat for it on the set so no vote.
