Undertaker.

 

Taker only had a brief stretch where his wrestling ability was the best thing he had going for him, but his longevity in the company and his willingness (for a long time) to do whatever he was asked of, is impressive.

This one isn't really that close for me. Undertaker doesn't really win in longevity, if you consider that Bret was around for over ten years himself. Undertaker was mostly an uppercard phenom, due to his gimmick - Bret Hart contributed in tags and had great matches throughout the entire card.

Pretty much for the reasons TMIB stated, though, to be fair, Undertaker didn't have a chance to contribute as much because of the inherent limitations of the original Undertaker persona. I still have to go with Bret, though.
