Percy Pringle starts the next show talking about how Eric Embry's Texas Heavyweight Title is the people's title and how they are coming for Lawler.

"Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez, Sheik Braddock, & "Rotten" Ron Starr vs. "Maniac" Matt Borne, Jeff Jarrett, & Billy Joe Travis (9/8/89)

Dusek & Lowrance are quite spiffy in their tuxedos. I love Ron Starr and glad to see him around as he meshed in well with these guys even though Braddock sucked and this match was to get him over which they tried to do on commentary for sure. Travis works FIP and throws some great punches before tagging in Borne who would clean house before the 6-way brawl starts with Braddock looking lost. Borne would hit a belly-to-belly on Braddock but Lubich wasn't paying attention so Starr would put some knux on his hand and KOed Borne to get the win. Fun match but not a nomination.

Akbar then cuts a promo with Bulba talking about the domination of Devastation Inc.

Next we get a Rock n Roll Express video from Mid-South as they are on their way in.

"Gentleman" Chris Adams vs PY Chu-Hi (Phil Hickerson) (9/8/89)

If Adams wins he gets 5 minutes with Tojo and if PY wins then Tojo gets 5 minutes with Toni. This is a brawl at the bell as both men pound on each other until Adams gets the advantage by going to work on PY's left leg. PY would fight back though using punches and thrusts but Adams won't be denied going for the leg then kicking him in the balls before going up top where PY would headbutt the turnbuckle forcing Adams to crotch himself then PY would crotch him himself. Toni would jump up on the apron as PY had Adams ready to go with Tojo coming in with the kendo stick but he would miss and PY would get hit instead with Adams covering for the win. Tojo would pick Adams up and threw salt in Adams' eyes so he can kick him around but Adams would fight back and used the kendo stick on Tojo before Toni would come in to slap Tojo twice. PY would then run back to the ring with Bulba not far behind and they would work over Adams until Kerry would run them off. This was a fun segment with some good heat.

Gary Young then cuts a semi coherant promo regarding the greatness of Devastation Inc.

Lawler then cuts an awesome promo on Embry being the pet of the USWA with Embry giving a followup. Extra material.

"Modern Day Warrior" Kerry Von Erich vs. Tarras Bulba (9/8/89)

Kerry & Bulba talk shit before the match until Kerry throws his robe in Bulba's face and the camera. The story here of course is who will get the claw first and Bulba comes dangerously close but Kerry would him off before they would get dueling abdominable claws. Bulba would get a sleeper hold to weaken Kerry enough to put the claw on but Kerry would again fight back so Bulba would continue to work over Kerry until he fights back with a discus punch but as Kerry went for his claw, Bulba snuck in with his in a cool spot. Kerry would get his claw though and we have a stalemate before Bulba releases his and throws Kerry into Lubich. Bulba would then headbutt Kerry from behind sending him to the floor where he would put the claw on him again as Akbar would tie Kerry's hand to the ringpost with his wrist tape with Bulba constantly headbutting Kerry's hand as Lubich calls for the DQ. Adams would run out to chase them off. This was a great angle and extra material.
