"Flamboyant" Eric Embry vs. Al Madril (12/11/87)

Embry attacks Madril at the bell as he is pissed that he lost his Lt. Heavyweight title to Shaun Simpson a couple of weeks earlier. Madril would fight back even though Embry tried to piledrive him with Madril backdropping him on the referee. Embry would piledrive Madril on the floor though and would win by countout as they were putting over how dangerous the piledriver was plus Madril was on his way back to Portland.

Shaun Simpson vs. "Playboy" Vince Apollo (12/11/87)

Apollo would attack Shaun early but would try a slingshot splash right into Shaun's knees starting his comeback before finishing him off with a sloppy victory roll. Embry would attack Shaun after the match hitting him with his belt then would wear the belt as he went to cut some of Shaun's hair with help from Vince. Shaun would make his own comeback though and got his belt back.

Then we have matches from 1991.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton & Tommy Rogers) vs. "Hollywood" John Tatum & Jack Victory (12/25/87)

This was an underrated feud in this timeframe as these teams would have some damn good matches together. Victory would run Fulton shoulder first into the ringpost on the floor very early so the Fants immediately start at a disadvantage. The heels do a fantastic job working over Fulton with the crowd going nuts when he gets the hot tag to Rogers where the 4-way brawl would get going with Victory holding Rogers in the air which knocks the referee around so he would miss Victory toss Rogers over the top rope to the concrete floor which looked like it hurt. Victory would suplex Rogers back in the ring but Fulton pulled his leg and as this happened the referee got onto Rogers so Tatum would hit Rogers to roll the pin over to get the win for the heels. Bronko Lubich would come down of course and told John Keaton what happened so the decision was reversed. The heels would come back for some more but they would get run off. This match was very short and that hurts it's shot at a nomination.

Jason Sterling vs. Cowboy Tony Falk (1/2/88)

Sterling gets a big win here.
