Dundee is out for revenge after their Texas Death Match went awry, and while this doesn't quite live up to it's predecessor, Dundee still puts on a hell of a show and makes this a great match in it's own right. I'll call it a low-end nom and see where it goes

Bill Dundee vs. Gary Young USWA Texas 11/89-12/89 #1

- Young’s hair freaks me out. The orange hue on my TV screen is throwing me off. Slow start with Dundee getting the better of Young and Young being frustrated. Young rams into Bill’s boots and bill unloads his sweet punches. Young fights back and Dundee ends up in a tree of woe. Young’s Hennigesque bumping is kind of annoying. He oversells A LOT… and not ina John Tatum good way either. Clever finish as Young grabs the bras s knux, gets rolled up by Dundee and as he is getting pinned, stuffs the knux in Dundee’s boot. Good stuff. I am torn on this match. I always enjoy a good Dundee match but I don’t think this one really stood out until the finish. If we had a shortage of matches to put on the set, I could see including it but I want to watch the other Young- Dundee matches first because I would give this low-level nomination at best.

"Gorgeous" Gary Young vs. "Superstar" Bill Dundee (10/20/89)

Dundee was fun working over Young early using great punches but Young would get the advantage and pounded on Dundee who at one point in a cool spot did a backflip into the corner turning into the tree of woe. Dundee would make a comeback with running uppercuts followed up by stinging jabs until Billy Joe Travis would run down giving Young a chain but he would miss it allowing Dundee to get an O'Connor Roll for the pin. Young then complains to Tony Falk that Dundee used a chain and he finds it in Dundee's boot as Young put it in there during the pin attempt. I loved the finish but the match as a whole was just okay and not a nomination.
