Posted April 11, 201015 yr comment_5449364 Kevin Von Erich vs. King Kong Bundy (American Title Match) JIP. This was their Christmas '82 Star Wars match which I've seen in full. Chic Donovan vs. Mike Bond This was a real good long-ish competitive squash. Donovan got some nice shots in on Bond, but the match is really made by Bond's heeling. Kinda get the sense that a non-squash between these two would've been great. Chris Adams vs. Kelly Kiniski Match is good thanks to Adams. Jimmy Garvin shows up near the end sporting the American Title, which Adams had won in that awesome cage match the night before, but that Garvin stole on his way out of the ring. Despite Adams' best efforts to remain focused, Garvin's taunting proves too much, and a distracted Adams falls to a schoolboy from Kiniski. Adams and Garvin get into it afterwords, with Garvin getting the upper hand when Adams gets tied up in the ropes. He dangles the belt in front of him, and then lays it on the mat, telling Adams to come and get it. Sunshine sneaks in behind Garvin to grab the belt, but he catches her in the act, and is about to do something horrible when Adams breaks free and KO's Garvin with the Superkick, bringing the belt back to it's rightful owner. Then Adams swipes Garvin's entrance gear, just to teach him a lesson. The match was good, but the ending and the aftermath are definite extras. Butch Reed vs. Mike Reed Good squash. Michael Hayes Interview Hayes talks up just how bad Badstreet is, and then illustrates his point with.... Fabulous Freebirds "Badstreet, USA" Music Video No, not that "Badstreet, USA" video. This is a video of the 'Birds in action (and Hayes lip-syncing the song's first verse during one of his entrances) set to "Badstreet, USA". Probably not an extra. Kevin Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy Well I'll be damned - a Kevin/Gordy match I haven't seen yet. Unfortunately, this may have been the least of their bouts. Mike Von Erich vs. Skandor Akbar JIP of Mike's debut, which I've seen. Butch Reed vs. Mike Bond Bond is quite the talented jobber. This is surprisingly competitive while it lasts, with both men looking good. After Reed finishes off Bond, Iceman comes out to check on him, as they are setting up an Iceman/Reed feud. Mike Von Erich vs. Michael Hayes Good match thanks to Hayes' efforts, but has way too much Mike on offense to be anything more than that. Missing Link "Bang Your Head" Music Video Seen it.
