Fritz Von Erich Interview Christ, Fritz is almost Joe Jackson-level indifferent to his son's death. Marc Lowrance actually has to prompt him at the end to say something about David. This might be a sleaze extra. Kelly Kiniski vs. Mike Reed Squash for Kiniski. Chris Adams vs. Buddy Roberts Plenty of action here. Kinda on the fence about nominating it. Kerry Von Erich & Iceman King Parsons vs. The Super Destroyers This is the third time I've seen these teams match up, and it is definitely the best. Not as much comedy from the Super D's as I usually like, though there is a great bit near the end where Kerry gives them the double noggin-knocker ad Super D #2 ends up staggering headfirst into one of the turnbuckles. Still, there is some quality offense being dished out here, with the faces controlling the first half and the Super Ds taking the second half. No real extended FIP sections, more of an inability for Kerry and Iceman to overtake the Super Ds for very long, which makes the sudden finish of Iceman ducking a double clothesline and hitting one Super D with the Butt Butt as he comes back off the ropes while Kerry pins the other one with a flying crossbody seem very appropriate. Also have to give props to Super Destroyer #1 for busting out one of the coolest looking side slams ever. I guess you would have to call it a forward slam, as he holds Iceman in side slam position, but in front of him, and he falls forward. Never seen that before. Nomination. Iceman King Parsons & Andre the Giant vs. The Super Destroyers JIP. Seen it in full. Von Erichs "Holding Out for a Hero" Music Video The Missing Link vs. Mike Gallagher Really good competitive squash. Kerry Von Erich vs. Super Destroyer #1 Seen it. Kevin & Mike Von Erich vs. Buddy Roberts & Kelly Kiniski This is the full version of the match that was clipped up on Romdam 26. Turns out we didn't miss a whole lot. The Von Erichs dominated pretty much the whole thing, though they did it well. You'd think a match with this much Mike on offense would suck a lot more than it did, but it didn't. Still, really one-sided and not a nomination, but entertaining with a strong angle surrounding it, so it still makes a good extra. Kerry Von Erich "Eye of the Tiger" Music Video JIP, oddly enough. The Missing Link vs. Jerry Grey Disc ends in the middle of a fairly unremarkable match.
