I mention this because one of the commercial breaks here includes an ad for Captain Lou Albano's wrestling hotline, which might be an extra for...something, I'm not sure what. Buck Zumhoffe vs. Buddy Roberts This is from the North Texas State University show and is Zumhoffe's World Class debut. Buddy is getting down to "Old Time Rock 'N' Roll", and tells Buck that he digs the music and he thinks he's alright. They shake hands, which naturally gets followed up with Buddy jumping Buck from behind once the bell rings. But Buck turns it around, wipes out Buddy with a better than usual looking flurry of offense, before finishing him off with a Big Van Crush in short order. He grabs the mic and starts yelling...something to the audience, and it seemed to work because eveyone is all fired up as he makes his way backstage, while Buddy lets out a great big "WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and throws a temper tantrum back in the ring. This felt like an extra to me. Killer Khan vs. Tony Torres Squash. Chris Adams Interview w/ Stella Mae French Debut The Super Destroyers vs. Iceman King Parsons & Buck Zumhoffe (American Tag Titles Match) Gino Hernandez Interview Seen these. Gino Hernandez vs. Johnny Mantel Strong non-title bout. Mantel looked great schooling Gino with technical stuff early on. Gino takes over, and I thought the match dragged a bit when he was in charge, though I loved his Stallone-like facial expressions while he had Mantel in the rear chinlock. Mantel fights back, and Gino takes a great bump where he Flair Flips over the turnbuckle and then falls to the floor, landing on one of the ringside security guards in the process. Great back-and-forth stuff leading to the finish. Really looked like Mantel would pull it out, and it's kind of a shame he didn't, as I'd love to see a rematch for the belt between these two. This falls just shy of a nomination. Kevin Von Erich vs. Michael Hayes Seen it. Killer Khan vs. Tony Torres JIP. It's the squash from earlier.
