Posted April 14, 201015 yr comment_5449531 Lucha Libre 12/13/86 - Blue Panther/Tony Arce/El Vulcano vs. Stuka/Solar II/Rokambole Really fast match, with everyone working a million miles an hour. Solar II looked really good here, taking some crazy bumps into the seats. Still this was pretty short, and I think it needed a more spectacular end run to make a set. Los Misioneros De La Muerte (El Texano/El Signo/Negro Navarro) vs. Tony Salazar/Chamaco Valaguez/Javier Cruz The Missioneros are such a pleasure to watch, this isn't a high end match but the MDM are so much fun to watch do their thing. Texano was especially sweet, doing some sweet wrist take downs and arm drags. The technicos were perfectly fine, but this is truly a cool showcase from a legendary team we won't have a ton of footage from. Lucha Libre 3/21/87 - Los Bravos - El Dandy/Talisman/Guerrero Negro vs. Los Javieres - Javier Cruz/Javier Rocca/Javier "Chamaco" Valaguez Lots of energy here with people doing a lot of things, Cruz does a nasty blade job too, and early rudo Dandy is pretty cool to see. Still the match felt like it was building to something that never happened. I am going to go No for now, although I could be talked into it. Los Infernales - MS1/Masacre/El Satanico vs. Rayo De Jalisco Jr./Tony Salazar/La Fiera Yeah this was a bunch of fun. Tony Salazar's Super Astro back tope was slick as fuck and I always enjoy Rayo. Not a super high end match, but deserves a place on the set. Satanico is truly the greatest
October 11, 201114 yr comment_5484901 Blue Panther/Tony Arce/El Vulcano vs. Stuka/Solar II/Rokambole I feel similarly to Phil. Lots of fun stuff here, but the ending is really awkward and it feels like two thirds of a match rather than the whole thing. Los Misioneros De La Muerte (El Texano/El Signo/Negro Navarro) vs. Tony Salazar/Chamaco Valaguez/Javier Cruz What Phil said. The Misioneros make it all seem so effortless. This is a low-end nomination to be sure, but a nomination nonetheless. Los Bravos - El Dandy/Talisman/Guerrero Negro vs. Los Javieres - Javier Cruz/Javier Rocca/Javier "Chamaco" Valaguez This was a ton of fun, with a great, high-energy tecnico performance from the Javiers and the Bravos being vicious bastards. I thought the build in this match was actually really good, establishing the blood feud between Valaguez and Guerrero Negro with Negro biting his head open and all, and culminating in a one-on-one showdown between the two that (mostly) decides the match. Also had a little bit of fun post-match brawling after Valaguez challenged Negro to a caballero vs. caballero match, and I'm hoping we have that somewhere. Los Infernales (El Satanico/MS-1/Masakre) vs. Rayo de Jalisco Jr./La Fiera/Tony Salazar Another winner between these teams, with the Infernales being violent pricks and the tecnicos looking good taking it. Salazar may have been the MVP for the faces, he took some nice bumps and had the aforementioned tope en reversa. Speaking guys with great topes en reversa, Rayo looked really good here, too, especially in the finishing stretch. This goes forward.
