Skip Young Interview Bill Mercer interviews Young outside of his old high school, and he talks about his background growing up in Dallas, travelling the world as a wrestler, and finally making his way back here. This was a good little piece and maybe an extra. Buck Zumhoffe & Jules Strongbow vs. The Irwin Brothers Zumhoffe was great on the apron as always, leading the crowd in Indian war chants and pounding the apron in Indian drum rhythyms. Strongbow works most of the first part of the match for his team, and looks great playing along with Zumhoffe. The Irwins hearken back to the Super Destroyer run with some quality stooging. Strongbow gets busted open with the butt of one of the Irwins' whips and has to go to the back, leaving Zumhoffe on his own. Buck is actually pretty game here. He is not as bad in the ring as I initially thought he was, and he does a good job eating a beatdown, making the occasional small comeback, but having no partner to tag out to, and the Irwins are great as they mercilessly taunt. Eventually, Strongbow comes back covered in war paint ad brandishing a pair of leather straps. What's more, he's followed by Gary Hart, who makes his return by clocking Skandor Akbar and sending the heels running. Lack of a real finish hurts this, but it's still a maybe nomination. Gary Hart Interview He's interested in a "special young talent", and we all know where this is going. Jake Roberts vs. Mike Gallager Kerry Von Erich vs. Terry Gordy (Lumberjack Match) Seen these.
