Kerry Von Erich & Chris Adams vs. Jimmy Garvin & The Missing Link These are four of the best guys on the set, and they have about a peach of a bout here. Kerry and Garvin do the dueling armdrags-into-poses spot that Kerry would later do with Gino. I thought Kerry's timing with Gino was a bit better, but I think the quality of the posing was better here. Kerry's physique looked suitably majestic, and Garvin's looked impressive while still coming off as appropriately cheesy and accompanied by his great evil laughter. Also, Link headbutts the fuck out of Adams. Unfortunately, the whole thing goes just over five minutes, so I can't really bring myself to nominate it, though I am tempted. Stella Mae runs in post-match to get some comeuppance. Kerry holds Garvin for her, and Stella really belts him. I mean, I know this is a really stiff promotion, and I've seen Stella throw some nice-looking forearms before, but I wasn't expecting her to paste Garvin like that. So yeah, probably not a nomination, but would make a great extra. Chris Adams vs. Roberto Renesto (JIP) Seen it.
