Zulu vs. Abdullah the Butcher

Seen it.

Zulu vs. Raoul Castro

Squash. Why would you wear a mask if you're going to tell everyone what your name is anyway?

Chris Adams vs. The Dingo Warrior

Considering the incredible talent of Adams and the kinda sorta talent of Dingo-era Warrior compared to Ultimate-era Warrior, one can't help but ask the question: can Chris Adams join that elite club of wrestlers who have carried Warrior to great matches? The answer...umm...not really. I mean, this was better than most of the Warrior matches you'll ever see. Chris was on the ball, of course, and Warrior was suitably menacing. Unfortunately, the whole charm of Dingo Warrior was that he actually sold for his opponents. That was after his face turn. Here he's a heel, and they make a big deal of how he's never been knocked off of his feet before, so don't expect a great selling performance like the Warrior/Bob Bradley match here. After some early ranting from Percy Pringle - who strikes Adams with his mic in full view of the ref after the opening bell has rung (God dammit, World Class, would you just decide what your fed's rules are and stick with them, already?) - Warrior puts Adams in a chokelift for a very long time. Rick Hazard mimes that it's actually a nervehold to explain why he hasn't DQ'd Warrior for not responding to multiple five-counts. Part of me wonders if that's actually what it was supposed to be, or if Hazard had to just come up with a bullshit explanation on the fly. Good on him, either way. Chris escapes and Superkicks Warrior, taking him down for the first time. Warrior does do a pretty nice looking bump through the ropes. Adams just keeps superkicking him, but Warrior comes back anyway and scores the upset win. It's better than I'm making it sound, but it's not as good as Dingo/Bradley.

Kerry Von Erich vs. Super Destroyer #1

Seen it.

Brian Adias & Mark Youngblood vs. Matt Borne & Buzz Sawyer

Disappointing.

Kerry Von Erich & Iceman King Parsons vs. Mark Lewin & Jack Victory

Seen it.

Kevin, Mike, & Lance Von Erich vs. Matt Borne, Buzz Sawyer, & The Dingo Warrior (Six-Man Tag Title Match)

They only show the beginning of the match, where Sawyer takes a hell of a bump to the outside.

The Batten Twins vs. Matt Borne & Buzz Sawyer

Good back-and-forth match. Borne and Sawyer made a hell of a team.

Pringle/LeDuc Interview

Pringle has a rivalry going with Gary Hart, and he introduces Jos LeDuc as his answer to Abdullah the Butcher. God damn, you could believe Jos knocked down trees just by looking at them the way he bugs his eyes out.

Jos LeDuc vs. Perry Jackson

Squash.

Rick Rude vs. The Dingo Warrior

Rude is already in the elite club of wrestlers who have carried the Warrior to great matches. In fact, best I can tell, he's the founder of that club. Unfortunately, he won't be founding it for another three years, but he does a better job with him here than Adams did. I loved the early gamesmanship with the arm wrestling stuff, all of Rude's offense was on point, and Warrior didn't really do anything terrible. This is ostensibly a heel vs. heel match, but the crowd is 100% behind Dingo, and I would imagine if they weren't already planning on turning him face, they might have picked up the idea here. Total bullshit finish and not a nomination, but still interesting.

Lance Von Erich vs. The Grappler

Good match, if a bit one-sided.

Rick Rude vs. Perry Jackson

EIP, I don't know why. What's shown looks like a good squash.

Zulu vs. The Grappler

Squash, sort of, as Grappler wins by DQ after an angry Zulu dominates him and throws him over the top rope.
