This a long really fun Southern tag match for the Tri-States tag title. Brown and McFarland are a fun poor man's MX and Gilbert and Morton are totally awesome. Gilbert is a really great face in peril here, and McFarland and Brown work him over. Great finish with Gilbert and Morton winning the belts after Brown accidentally blasts him with a chair. Crazy pull apart post match with Mike George and Bob Sweetan

Jerry Brown is quite a sight, resembling my childhood dentist with his hairy hands and big mustache, but boy was he great to watch on the apron, just nonstop gyrating and flailing. Ron McFarland was quite the bump machine for a big guy, and he took a king-sized chair shot from Brown to end things. Bob Sweetan on commentary is always a plus, and the post-match seemed to be more of a McFarland face turn than a celebration of a title change to the plucky underdogs as Sweetan and his track suit ran off Brown and Mike George. Lots of fun due to excellent Gilbert and Morton and two fine heels you've never seen before.
